Insomnia Killed the Microwave
Busy Wednesday

We’re getting a new septic system…the boys were STUNNED to see a bulldozer right outside our front door. They kept waving at the driver and Carlos felt the need to crack the door open and keep reminding the worker to “be careful not to be hitting my tree”
We headed to Silverdale and did some shopping and speech (it IS harder with 4 kids!) and then met up with Fishers to play in the mall. Carlos took the walk down the mall as a chance to hold hands with Megan and Kayla and lead them to the play area. He’s a riot! They all enjoyed playing, they’ve been wanting to play there for quite awhile and we just haven’t had the time. I also found a $12 pair of cool Adidas tennis shoes for myself so I was happy about that.
Came home and Carolyn and the kids came to do some laundry and hang out.
MNMs tomorrow, yippee!!!!!!!!
April Fools!
Fun in the Big City
So we had an adventure to the big city today with Mary and Alice. We had a nice breakfast, buckled up the kids and hopped on the ferry. I felt like such a tourist but we took lots of pictures of the kids on the boat.
One would think that going to IKEA with 4 kids (ages 2, 3, 4 and 5) wouldn’t be so fun or productive. Wrong, they have Smaland where all the kids but Trey got checked in to play for an hour. Trey was a super shopper! We picked up the others and grabbed a quick plate of meatballs before heading back to the car. Mary knew of a great spot to get dessert, not really for the food…but that was cool….but for the atmosphere. It’s the Rainforest Cafe. Their store/waiting area was felt like a rainforest with animated animals and a stunning aquarium. Carlos loved the snake and he could almost touch it from atop Dee’s shoulders (you can see it in the picture). We got the most incredible dessert, the brownie/ice cream volcano with a sparkler on top. Plus, they had cups that flashed that we bought and they now have to use at home. I’ve never seen anything like them.
Spring break this week…hoping to keep the kids all busy with art projects, trips to the park and whatever else we can come up with.
