and just like that, its over

its the morning of our last day and I even slept in a little which was a luxury. Yesterday we took in the forum shops at Ceasars Palace, a cheeseburger in paradise at Margaritaville and sunned by the pool. We were out late last night, after the pool we headed to the Wynn for their fancy buffet and ate WAY too much food. They had anything you could imagine and lots of it.
Hopped the Deuce down to Bellagio and watched The fountains, which are always inspiring, then hopped back on the Deuce down to Madalay Bay where the ice bar, Minus 5 is at. It was amazing to say the least, we had to put on big parkas and boots and everything infide was made of ice, even our glasses!
In desparate need of coffee this morning then we are just planning on relaxing before we have to head to the airport this afternoon.
We have had an incredible time but I am ready to come home and hug my babies!

Ah, Vegas…..

Sorry about the last post, that was me trying to post from the bar at Kaunaville from my phone! We’re in Vegas and let me tell you, we did it ALL yesterday. We saw white tigers and dolphins at Mirage, a bartending competition at Treasure Island, rode the Manhattan Express roller coaster at New York, New York and of course our first stop when we landed was our hotel, the Palazzo to get some amazing guacamole from Dos Caminos. All this while consuming mass amounts of Jack and Cokes and just being happy.
I tried to update pictures but that didn’t work out so well….I’ll post some when I get home. Today’s plan…lay by the pool, read my book and drink margaritas. WOO HOO!

(may try to post again from the phone, but the business center here is hell and gone from anything so this may be a one time deal).

Kermit Comes to Visit

We have a rule at our house…whatever I find in while I’m doing laundry is mine. Usually it’s a little lint, sometimes a marble or penny sneaks in but today it was a frog. Seriously, I went to take the clothes out of the washer and it was sitting on the basket. I scooped him up and made him a little home in the boy’s bug watching tank. They thought he was pretty neat but we knew we couldn’t keep him. Gave him a new home in the hydrangea bush, it’s gotta be a step up from the basement!
