So I’ve been going through the house room by room and making a list of all the things that need to get done. I am only on the 4th room and there are over 50 items on the list! Some are big (replace cracked window) and some are small (dust picture frames) but all need to get done. I figure if we go at it and plan to accomplish one item per day, eventually we will have our house looking the way we (well, OCD me at least) wants.
With our tiny house, 5 kids (at the moment) makes it a necessity to be uber organized in order for it to run smoothly. The kids help out with chores and we try to stay on top of things, but so many things get put off until later. Not anymore!
Guessing most people won’t see the difference at all, but I will know it’s done and that will feel good. When I open my tiny closet, I would love to be able to just see clothes instead of random electronics, a bin of photos that needs to be sorted, too big clothes and “hidden” presents for the kids.
The kitchen counter has been repainted as well as the cabinets so I’m off and running. I also plan on a MAJOR purge and many trips to Goodwill. If we haven’t used it in X number of years, even though it’s cool it’s gonna be gone.
