This was my view picking up the boys from school today.  Levi and two of his buddies, unposed, just kicking back reading.  They were really cute in discussing their books as well.  This is a keeper.  Have I mentioned that I LOVE their school!?!?!

I don’t make it in front of the camera too often but here we are…me and the kids!  Someone asked me if I ever pictured myself being the mom of 4 kids, and to be honest, I knew I would have kids just didn’t think it would be 4 of them.  I used to joke around and tell people I wanted to have 9 kids so if they ever said they were bored I could tell them to round up the neighbor kids and go play baseball, they would have their own team.  I really did think I was content with the 3 boys and just assumed we would stop there, but when Erin came along we knew she was a perfect fit for our family.
So, here I am, the mother of 4.

New Name

I have been struggling with the name of this blog, now that we have more than the three scurvy dogs.  As I researched, I found out that woman pirates were simply called pirates so I almost went with Four Scurvy Dogs….but that didn’t seem right.  I couldn’t well go with Three Scuvy Dogs, a Wench (and their Mamas) because who would call a 6 month old girl a wench?  I went with Lass because it seemed to fit, but I’m open to suggestions.  Put on your thinking caps and let me know what you come up with!

It's A Girl!

Today we finalized the adoption of our sweet baby girl, Erin Carly.  She has been with us since she was 2 days old and we can’t imagine life without her.  Honestly, she is the easiest, sweetest, most adorable baby girl ever and we are so happy she’s finally ours.  She has completed our family.
We love you, Erin!

Levi lost his boomerang in our gigantic holly bush this summer.  Every time the boys go outside to play (and I mean EVERY time) he has tried to come up with new ways to get it out of the holly bush.  You have to note that this is the worlds pokiest bush and the way that the boomerang was stuck, it was near impossible to retrieve.  But Levi wouldn’t give up, he propped up our old Christmas tree and used it as a ladder to climb the holly bush and reach the boomerang.  I had to giggle from the other side of the holly.  So proud he did it!
