A Day In Kingston

I have been the worst blogger, but I do have a great excuse…we’ve been out having a blast and trying to soak up the little bit of Vitamin D we’ve been blessed with this summer.
With 1 week left until school, Carlos and Alice were signed up for a skateboarding camp that ended up getting cancelled. So, today I decide that we’d do our own skateboard camp and I packed up Alice and the boys and headed toward Kingston. It was a perfect park for our crew, Alice, Levi and Trey all rode Razor scooters and Carlos worked on his skateboarding. There were lots of kids there, and we even ran into our friend Jessie and had a chance to catch up with her. Trey is always so funny when there are big kids around, he tries to be super cool and chat them up. Got one picture of him entertaining them.

Woodland Park Zoo

I took the big kids out to the zoo today, not a bad day at work if I do say so myself. The kids are at a great age and even with all the walking and the abundance of hiding or sleeping animals, we had a great time.
The highlight by far was the room with all of the birds that you pay$1 for a feeding stick and the birds fly down and land on your hand. It really was cool!
We’ve been busy with mini adventures but I will be better about updating the blog, I promise!
