Saturday was the kick off to the t-ball season, with our first game. The kids came out and played and played well. There were some funny moments, one with Trey running off the field instead of to first base after a hit. There are no outs and everyone bats through the order but we only play 3 innings so it all works out.
I got to go out Saturday night, Mary and I did a cool cd exchange and met a bunch of fun people I never would have met before. Gotta love Facebook for networking.
Today has been a whirlwind in lots of good ways. We did our Sunday morning coffee with Margaret and Todd, came home and did some yard work (it looks perfect and as Martha Stewart as a filled with kid toys white trash yard could look). I took the boys to a friend’s birthday party then we went to open swim at the pool with the foster parent association. What fun! Our boys are really swimming, it’s great to watch them and not have to think one will drown the minute you turn your head. They did lots of jumps off the side and swimming around the shallow end they were wiped out. Came home, had dinner with Nana and Papa and did some door to door sales of the Little League Double Play cards. It’s a great deal, really…only $5 and you get discounts at Casa Rojas, Mud Puddle Coffee, Westside Pizza, Silver Screen Video, DQ, Bainbridge Cinemas and more. Want one?!?!?!
