We took a road trip down to Ocean Shores to help celebrate Leila’s (aka Pickle) 7th birthday and see Dee’s dad again before he and Sandy head back to Illinois. The girls are growing up so fast! Since it was crowded at the house, we hopped on Priceline and got a room at the Days Inn for only $40. It wasn’t fancy, but it had a couple of beds and a pool and that was all we needed. The girls even came this morning and swam with us.

Linda and Scott have baby goats now, along with their chickens and turkey. Watching them play was hysterical. Levi, our animal guy, was most interested and even let them jump up on him and lick his fingers.

We didn’t make it down to the ocean this trip, we saw the waves but we’ll be heading down for a 4 day vacation in a few weeks so we’ll spend lots of time in the sand.
