Let It Snow

It’s just a dusting….but it’s what we’ve got so far and it’s still falling! The kids were excited to go out on the porch and try to catch snowflakes and Levi even made a pea sized snowball to throw. They didn’t seem to care that it was just a trace, but they’re Western Washington kids so they just don’t know that “real” snow is deep and that snowballs are really supposed to be bigger than a pea. Ignorance is bliss!

Levi's Day

So today was Levi’s turn for a special day with Nana and Papa. He has been counting down the goodnights and couldn’t wait to go. He got picked up first thing in the morning and they hopped on the ferry to the big city. His special day was the Build-A-Bear workshop, he’s such a softie when it comes to his animals and being able to build one was right up his alley. He picked out a little dog and it came with a little box, food bowl, and Spiderman outfit.

Then they went out to lunch at a diner that had a train that went around the ceiling and that was impressive to Levi. Plus he got to have a peanut butter and jelly sandwich, his absolute favorite.
Since the other boys had gone to Chuck E. Cheese, Levi got to go as well. All in all a great day for Levi, he can’t stop talking about how much fun it was.
He’s got his new dog tucked in his house next to his bed, too sweet!

Carlos' Day

Carlos had his special day with Nana and Papa yesterday. Of course, he wanted to go to Chuck E. Cheese since Trey had done that and of course, Nana and Papa said YES! But he had more planned, much more planned and he got to do it all.
Papa had to get a shot so Nana and Carlos went to ice cream (Carlos’ pick) and then they picked Papa back up and went out to noodles and meat (also a Carlos pick), then it was Chuck E. Cheese and to top it all off, Nana and Papa surprised Carlos with a trip to Office Max to pick out new notenbooks, a clipboard, pens and a bag full of gumballs! That, my friends, is a dream come true day for Carlos.
Levi’s day is tomorrow, he can’t wait!

Trey's Day

My parents are doing something really cool for Christmas this year….cutting back on the presents (ya, I know you may not see that as “cool”) and taking each of the boys for a day with an experience.
Monday was Trey’s special day and I think he’s the toughest, in SO many ways. Anyhow, Chuck E. Cheese is the place he is happiest and he can run around and burn off energy and get tons of screen time so that’s where they went. He was HAPPY. Here are some pictures of their day!

Oh Yes I Can

So Nana came to watch the boys on Friday morning while I had a meeting at the school (thank you, Nana!). Apparently she did something to tick Carlos off but it was his response was hilarious…he took away her name! He was so angry and said “you are no longer N.A.N.A., now I will call you T.R.V.O.” That must have been the ultimate for him…too funny! Now I wonder what T.R.V.O. means!
