We did a fun craft at MNMs today, it was very Martha Stewart-like. We blew eggs and then decorated them with glue and fancy glitter. They were so pretty and it blew me away how many of the moms made these perfect eggs. Mine were cool but in no way ready for retail sales.
Thought I would try it at home with the boys. Carolyn came over to have dinner and Mary and Alice joined us as well, for dinner and egg blowing. The kids had a ball, they really did a lot better than I thought they would and we only had one crushed egg. Trey gave up after a bit to watch a movie, but Levi and Carlos stuck it out, blew out the eggs and took great care in decorating them.
I think tomorrow we’re dying eggs, the more traditional approach! I’m sure there will be pictures of that. Last year Trey just cried and screamed at us the whole egg dying time so we’ll see what a year brings.
