Linda, Scott and the girls came up this weekend to hang out and we had a great time! It was truly one of the most relaxing weekends we have had in a long time, even with the addition of 2 adults, 2 kids and 3 dogs. It was a full house for sure but the kids are at such a great age that they can play together and be entertained while the adults hang out in the dining room and talk. We got a cute picture of the kids and their cousins today…in age it goes like this: Carlos (3), Levi (4), Leila (6), Emma (2) and Trey (2). Believe it or not, Trey is only 2 months older than Emma!

The bummer has been that I totally strained a muscle in my back and it’s been painful. Got some meds at the Evil Empire but they knock me out so I try to not take them until it’s time to crawl into bed. Someone once told me that suffering doesn’t get you into heaven any faster but I have to stay mentally clear or the crew will smell weakness and go for the jugular. Give me the power to carry on this charade of strength so they don’t eat me alive!
