A shout out to our friends…..we need a babysitter! Dee and I have 4 pairs of free movie tickets that are going to expire at the end of the month. We really want to go see Oceans 13 and the new Pirates of the Carribean movie.

So, if you want some quality time with the boys…let us know! 🙂

So I got the text message from Nathan…time to blog! Guess I’ve been a slacker, sorry about that.

So last weekend we worked out in the yard all day Saturday, got a little sunburn (which I was trying to do to even out my farmer’s tan…but some little monster covered in sunscreen slimed my upper arm, so now I have a semi blended farmer’s tan with a white streak, it’s hot).

Levi’s baptism was on Sunday, it was great. The pastor asked him if he wanted to be baptized…he just grinned and smiled and needed a little prompting. Guess it would be slightly intimidating to be standing in front of the church not knowing what to say. He did great, though and all went well.

We got the boys signed up for swimming lessons this summer and decided we better get them back into the water before the lessons start since it’s been awhile. We took them to the pool last night, they had a ball. Trey is a total water baby! He can kick and splash and shriek all at the same time.

Oh and I got a new phone..sorry, no more pictures via texting but it’s super cool, a Sidekick. I love it!

We have a busy, busy weekend with a couple of BBQs, a grad party, a dinner and another party. The boys should be tired by the end of it….

Took the big boys to the M’s game last night…what a blast! The boys were decked out in their Mariners gear and looked adorable. They ate a ton of peanuts (shells and all…yuck!), candy, juice and loved the whole energy of the crowd. I don’t think they even realized there was a ballgame going on, though! Oh well, maybe next year. But they had fun and were great with the walk to and from the boat, so this is something we could surely do again.

We ran into one of our former foster babies last night, too! Her new foster parents saw us and brought her to sit with us though the whole game. Brought back a lot of emotions, but it was great to see her. She is one we would have loved to adopt (but we’re done!). It was great to hold her, she kept laughing and sticking out her tongue at us and Carlos was so excited, he kept rubbing her cheek and holding her hand.

Dee’s working this morning…not sure what the boys and I are going to do to keep busy but we’ll find something. Happy weekend, all…enjoy the sunshine!
