What a great concert….for my birthday Dee got me tickets to see Peter Cetera (used to be the lead for Chicago) with the Seattle Symphony. It was AMAZING! I think he’s a hottie and love his voice, and he was funny too. My folks went with us so that was fun, too. What a great evening out.

Oh, shouldn’t be a suprise but we aren’t getting the new little guy and our sweet little girl may be staying for a couple more weeks. It’ll all work out, she’s a great baby so we can’t complain too much.

Here are a few pictures from the birthday…so nice to hang out with the family and eat C0ld Stone ice cream cake (my absolute favorite). The boys woke me up by singing Happy Birthday to You and about made me cry. All in all it was a great day!

Tomorrow’s my bday, 35th. It’ll be full of kids and then my folks are coming over for dinner. Can’t wait for my dad’s hand stuffed rigatoni, my birthday meal for the last 30 years I think. And an ice cream cake? Could life get any better? For my celebration with Dee, we are headed to the symphony on Friday night to see Peter Cetera perform. Should be a great show and such a treat to have a night out in the big city.
Tonight Suzanne and I went to a Dream Dinners introduction and got to make our 6 (3 serving) meals for $49.50. Can’t wait to eat them, they look and smell divine. We’re setting up a Sneak Peak for our friends/family/whoever wants to go on Friday, March 16th at 5:30. So, if you want to go just email me and ask how. It’s the same $49.50 deal that we just did. You won’t be sorry you did it!

I know it’s been a few days (sorry Nathan…but thanks for the reminder calls!) but we’ve been busy! Thursday we had 10 kids in the house….Nana brought Mykenna over to play for a bit, then Carolyn brought two foster babies and Javier were here a short time then I had Alice, Jefferson, Levi, Carlos, Trey and our foster baby. No worries, I only had 8 at one time lol.

Friday was fun and also tough. Started out by taking the kids to see “Wild Hogs” which I know isn’t a kids movie, but it’s part of our local theater’s Movies for Mommies program and they didn’t care what was playing on the screen but only that they had popcorn and candy. They loved the motorcycles, too. The tough part came when we had to say goodbye to Carolyn’s little one who was going to live with her grandma. She’s such a sweetie baby, we’ll miss her smile and snorky laugh. It’s hard but all part of the foster parent gig.

We still have our little one and she’s doing great. What an EASY baby! We still have to take two cars everywhere so that’s a total pain. The idea was brought up for us to start up a “The Field-Bennetts need a minivan” campaign and solicit donations. Or someone could just buy us one…that would be great, too.
Also, voting starts Monday for the Baby Idol and you can vote as much as you want…PLEASE vote!!! I don’t even know what the prizes are, but wouldn’t it be cool to say you know the Baby Idol of Seattle? So vote, get your friends, family, co-workers, everyone on your email list to vote!!!!!!
