The plans are in motion for Dee’s 40th birthday party. I was thinking “surprise party” but Dee would prefer to know about it and it makes things easier as well.

The boys are busy as always, Trey’s new favorite word is “touchdown” and he says it as he holds his arms up. It’s pretty cute. Carlos is really close to being potty trained. It’s early, but Carlos is one smart kid. Levi is having a ball at preschool and is really starting to talk more about what he does there each day. He likes the bus and playing with the rice (they have a kiddie pool filled with rice and toys at his school).

Possible big news…Levi’s social worker is coming to visit on Friday and wants to talk about the upcoming adoption! The appeal goes to the courts on October 4th and they are hoping the decision is in and we can finalize the adoption on National Adoption Day, which is November 17th. This would be a HUGE deal and we are so excited. We’ll keep you posted!
